Las Vegas Karate School Spring Tournament

Students and family members of Professional Karate Centers enjoyed a spectacular tournament on March 12, 2016, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Students were able to practice their karate in a fun and friendly competition against fellow classmates.

This type of tournament is more than a lesson in teamwork and good times. By participating, the student:

  • Gets to practice their skills against someone they may not have sparred with before
  • develops teamwork skills while focusing on individual effort
  • learns to defend themselves where a little nervousness is present so they don't 'freeze up' when they need it most
  • and to focus among the distractions around them

Congratulations to the members of the White Team for scoring their 173 points against the Red Team’s 147 points!

Sparring and Good Food!

After the tournament, all participants and their families gathered to enjoy our delicious pot luck. Master Sarac would like to thank all the parents who brought in all the yummy food!

We look forward to seeing everyone again at the next tournament in May 2016.
