George J Sarac: Tiny Karate Kid with a Big Heart

Georgie's first day of sparring class
Teachers mistakenly send him to the kindergarten class, he doesn't get to ride all the rides at the amusement park, and he'll probably spend more time in a booster seat in the car than most...
But he makes friends easily, has the world's most permanent smile, and just loves his karate class at Allen Sarac's Professional Karate Centers. He may be the tiniest child in the school, but he is driven. He goes to karate class 4 times a week, and talks about it non-stop when he is home.
He gets good exercise because he practices at home, and he plays fewer video games - because for the last 2 months, he's preferred to be active than sit in front of the video screen.
He is most excited today, Nov 3, 2011, as he tested for his Gold Belt. And most proud - that he passed!
He knows 2 katas, 5 one-steps, a working knowledge of the basics, 3 stances, and, well, he can kiai... pretty loudly for such a small guy. I'm glad that he is learning to speak up. He says his name louder and clearer now, and every day he remembers to say "yes sir" (at least once) outside the classroom.
As a parent, I see an incredible change in just the 2 months he's taken lessons, because he's taken his lessons to heart.
I'm really proud of you Georgie!
